The Top 3 things to watch out for in the Nations League this Summer.

  1. The World Cup Semi-final Rematch.

England will want to act revenge against the might of Croatia as they meet on Friday
night in the Nations League. Croatia has started extremely poorly with a 6-0 drubbing by Spain in the first match-up and will want to bounce back against a team they beat in the World cup Semi-finals. “We know what happened in the summer,” Harry Kane said. “It will be nice to try and get our own back.”

  1. Russia’s Renaissance to continue?

Sweden head to Kalingrad on Thursday ranked 31 places higher than their opponents but Russia, in 46th, look well placed to make a mockery of the FIFA standings. Russia have continued to ride the wave of optimism following the remarkable run into the World cup quarter finals and after beating Turkey in a close 2-1 victory, the confidence continues to grow.

  1. Irish sighs as Denmark Visit

The Republic of Ireland have unhappy memories of their last meeting with Denmark, who sealed their World cup place with a thumping play-off victory in Dublin last year. Christian Eriksen scored a brilliant hat-trick as Denmark romped to a easy 5-1 victory, leaving the Irish squad and coaching staff a mess. After reports of multiple falling out’s of players with coaching staff, the republic of Ireland will be focusing on getting a better result than the last.
