Does Alcohol make people better sports punters or does it give false hope?
Alcohol is a beverage enjoyed by many friends and families across the world, especially during sporting events. Alcohol is the go to type of beverage while watching sports and is usually due to the “over-confidence” many people get while drinking. Many people with a ‘new found confidence’ begin to believe they know every little detail about every sport and become the smartest, most wise sports punters, coaches and managers in the world.

Most of the time, people will believe they can bet on any type of sports event known to man and make abit of money, this however is the alcohol giving false hope. While some bets do come to a profit for the punter, a majority of punters will experience a loss in their bets. The alcohol actually slows down the users brain activity, which can lead to making poor decisions and will definitely give a boost in confidence.

Alcohol does ‘NOT’ make anyone a better punter.
